Im Getting A Tattoo I Need Some Help?

im about to get my first tattoo..im 16 male, im play football and basketball..what tattoo should i get i was thinking a tribal tattoo or a celtic cross on my arm...and should i wait until after i got to the beach cause i heard it ruins it..and one more thing if i get one on my arm and then put more muscle on will that ruin or stretch the tattoo? cause that would suck lol...ps my parents are going so dont tell me that i need an adult to get one lol thanks everyone
