Claddagh Cross Tattoo?

I have been wanting to get a tattoo for my partner. i wanted something that represented strength, loyalty & love and i came across the claddagh cross which i think looks amazing & very appropriate for what i want.
The only thing is is that the claddagh is an Irish catholic symbol- and i am neither Irish nor catholic. So do you think it would still be ok to have such a tattoo with the reasons given, i really respect & like what the tattoo symbolises - besides people have other things like chinese symbols, polynesian, tribal etc? I would appreciate any constructive opinions buy prescription drugs online without a prescription on whether i should go ahead with the tattoo or not. Many thanks.
